Maintain Customer /prospectors

First we have set up a company and chart of account. Now its time to establish subsidiary ledgers for Accounts Receivable. Maintain Customer/prospector window to enter, change, and store information about companies and people . For customer and prospectors  this includes such information
Name , Address, email, sale history ,sale account , etc
Subsidiary ledgers for Accounts Receivables are maintained through  Customer/Prospect option in Maintain Menu. To do this click we will click on Maintain menu and then on Charts of Accounts.


And then click on customer /protectors


This screen will appear in which there are two part header fields and tabs

In which you have enter ID and Name for customer and have also option to save, detect, change ,new, event the other box is TAB in which there are 5 different tabs Gernal Sale Default Payment Defaults Customer Field History
General tabs


The customer information such as contact information, address, phone and fax numbers, sales tax code, and beginning balances
Sale Defaults Tabs

Click on sale default tab this screen will appear


In which there sale representative, sale tax, open purchase order , ship via, Resale, price level
sale representative  enter the name which is post on sale paper
Sale account  in sale account we enter sale account number which we make in chart of account
Ship Via we are enter which type of company you send sale like fed-ex  etc
Resale if the costumer purchase item for resale enter number in its
Price Level there is various price level  to set the maintain inventory items
Payment defaults tabs



To enter data whose default customer to automatic deduct amount
Cardholder Name  the name of customer default
Address enter address of customer
Country the country where who live
Credit card number  in which credit card number
Expiration date in which enter date month and year
Customer fields tabs


To enter custom field information for the selected customer record, select the Custom Fields tab in the Maintain Customers/Prospects window.

History tab


select the History tab in the Maintain Customers/Prospects window. When entering a new customer, you can enter information on this tab; once you save the customer record, this tab is for display purposes only.

Customer Since: the date when you first made a sale to the customes
Last Invoice Date:  the date of the last invoice you sent to the customer
Last Invoice Amt:  the amount of the last invoice
Last Payment Date:  the date of the last payment you received from the customer
Last Payment Amt:  the last payment amount you received from the customer
Last Statement Date:  the date of the last statement you sent to the customer
